The Name 4
By Dr. Thomas Michael

Psalm 113:1-3 "Praise, O servants of YAHVEH, praise the name of YAHVEH. Let the name of YAHVEH be praised, both now and forevermore. From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of YAHVEH is to be praised. YAHVEH is exalted over all the nations, his glory above the heavens." He repeats this in Malachi 1:11.

God has called us to be the bearers of this most Holy Name. This name identifies you with the God of Israel: the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We are called to proclaim this name and make it known to as many people as possible, so they may also sanctify and praise His name. YAHVEH, the name above all names, connects us to His honour, his character, His authority and, ultimately, to His identity. Remember, His identity is in His name. His name means the God of covenant agreement who will save His people from their oppression. God wants you healthy and abundantly wealthy! The problem is many of us do not know how to appropriate the promises of God.

Jeremiah 33:2-3 "This is what the LORD (YAHVEH) says, he who made the earth, the LORD (YAHVEH) who formed it and established it-the LORD (YAHVEH) is his name: 'Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.'"
God is ready to give us the secrets of the Kingdom. God is ready to reveal His glory to His own, but He's looking for a people who will stand by His name. God is looking for a handful of people who will not be afraid to receive this Most Holy Name. It is mentioned 7000 times in the Old Testament alone and 1000 times in the New Testament. Don't tell me God is not looking for somebody to uncover the power in this most sacred name and proclaim it to the nations.

Jeremiah 12:4 Give thanks to YHVH, call upon His Name aloud.  Proclaim His deeds to the nations, declare his name sublime.  Sing of YHVH, for he has done marvelous things, let it be known to the whole world!
The personal name of our God; the God of Israel by which He anciently revealed Himself to Moses is "YAH". When Yahshua said we could ask whatever we wanted in His name, He was referring to the Y-A-H in His name.

The word JAH or YAH as is mentioned only a few places in scripture comes from a primitive word denoting signum, which means to mark with a sign, to designate, sign, or stigma. It means the celebrated name of God.  It renders in any one's name, authority. The power in the name of Jesus is YAH. These letters that He shares with YAHVEH, gives Him the authority or the power of attorney to act on His Father's behalf.

The world is eagerly running with open arms into the ancient paths of wisdom and tapping into the rightful inheritance of the Sons of God because the church is too afraid to make a slight theological change. Sad to say, but much of the church is steeped in rebellion, self-centeredness, and greed, and they do not even know it. This is the reason so many people get tripped up over The Name. Christianity is not a modern day religion nor was it born in England during the reign of King James where the scriptures were translated into the crude street language of the people, called Old English. Christianity was not born in America when the Pilgrims sailed over the ocean to escape religious persecution. It was born in the dusty, desert land called IsraYAHel.

Begin to call upon His Name aloud and watch the unlimited power of YAH begin to operate in your life.

For centuries, generations have called upon the name of the LORD, only to find that He does not always answer. How can we truly worship a God whose name we do not even know? I heard the Holy One say, To see something you must expect something. To expect something you must know something. We must know, to expect, and we must expect to see. He says in Psalm 138:2, I will honour My Word and seal it with my name. Joel 2:32 says, And everyone who calls on the name of the YAHVEH, will be saved.
The whole relationship between YAHVEH and His people is based on worship. It is founded on the dimensions and levels of the Ark of Agreement. The Ark of Covenant or the Ark of Agreement was a specific dwelling place that the Almighty agreed to dwell in. He was so desperate for a people to worship Him that He agreed to house His glory in a box. His glory filled the box and the light of that glory radiated and emanated from that box into the holy of holies.
The reason the Holy Spirit keeps prompting me to begin this series with Ezekiel 33:31-33 is because there are many who have followed this man of God, this prophet, right to the edge until I began speaking on The Name. I have been entrusted with His name and I must declare it as I promised YAHVEH I would. I have tried to make it appealing to those of you who are in love with the transliteration of the name "Jesus", and have encountered much resistance.
