The Name 6
By Dr. Thomas Michael
Isaiah 52:6 "But I will reveal my name to my people, and
they will come to know its power. There is power in the name
of YAHVEH. If you do not know what His name is, you cannot know His honour, character,
authority, and identity.
YAHVEH is sounding a trumpet; His Spirit is crying out
for His people to come out from amongst those who are compromising their walk. In
Amos 3:6-7, He says "When
a trumpet sounds in a city, do not the people tremble? When disaster comes to a
city, has not YAHVEH caused it? Surely Sovereign YAHVEH does nothing without
revealing his plan to his servants the prophets."
Those Christians
caught in the matrix of religion that have not followed YAHVEH's instructions
are a grievance to the Holy Spirit. Steeped in the traditions of men, they are
devoid of the presence of God.
The Spirit of the Lord is raising up a new
generation of people who will follow after righteousness. I Samuel 13:14 tells King Saul,
"…YAHVEH has sought out for Himself a man after his own heart, and YAHVEH
has appointed him as ruler over his people, because you have not kept what
YAHVEH commanded you." The Spirit of YAHVEH is looking for people who
will unashamedly declare His name to the nations.
There is a
plumb line that is measuring and counting the worshipers in the inner courts of
the LORD. Rev. 11:1-2 "I
was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, 'Go and measure the temple
of God and the altar, and count the worshipers there. But exclude the outer
court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles. They will
trample on the holy city for 42 months.'"
True worshipers worship in
spirit and in truth. They walk in agreement because they walk in the integrity
of the name of YAHVEH, the God of agreement. Malachi 2:2 warns us, "If you do not listen, and if you do not
take it to heart to give honour to my name," says YAHVEH of hosts, "then
I will send the curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings; and indeed, I
have cursed them already, because you are not taking it to heart."
The
Spirit of the Lord is creating a chasm between the rebellious and the obedient.
The bible says in 2 Chronicles 2:1 that
YAHVEH wrote his name on the temple that Solomon built for Him. YAHVEH only stamps His Name or signature on a
place where He Himself chooses to dwell, which indicates the place has His
stamp of approval and bears His identity or His glory. Psalm 5:11 says that
those who love the Name of our God can take shelter in Him, so they may sing
and rejoice in Him.
The Lord will help you overcome your difficult times
because He is behind every event of your life. The bible says in Psalm 34:19, (NIV) "A righteous man may have many
troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all." The sooner you
break, the sooner you get through to victory. Just like our military uses boot
camp to break recruits of their will, you must allow the Father to do the same
in your life. Get to the point where you do only what you are told without
complaining, recognizing that you have no choice.
You cannot feel oppressed if
you are in agreement with your surroundings and the instructions you are being
given. If you are humbly
doing what you are instructed to do, you will never
feel controlled. Psalm 51:17 tells
us what the Father expects from the righteous. "The sacrifices of God are a
broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise." Embrace
the Name above all names and release the power of miracles, signs, and wonders that
are already yours.

For centuries, generations have called upon the name of the LORD, only to find that He does not always answer. How can we truly worship a God whose name we do not even know? I heard the Holy One say, To see something you must expect something. To expect something you must know something. We must know, to expect, and we must expect to see. He says in Psalm 138:2, I will honour My Word and seal it with my name. Joel 2:32 says, And everyone who calls on the name of the YAHVEH, will be saved.
The whole relationship between YAHVEH and His people is based on worship. It is founded on the dimensions and levels of the Ark of Agreement. The Ark of Covenant or the Ark of Agreement was a specific dwelling place that the Almighty agreed to dwell in. He was so desperate for a people to worship Him that He agreed to house His glory in a box. His glory filled the box and the light of that glory radiated and emanated from that box into the holy of holies.
The reason the Holy Spirit keeps prompting me to begin this series with Ezekiel 33:31-33 is because there are many who have followed this man of God, this prophet, right to the edge until I began speaking on The Name. I have been entrusted with His name and I must declare it as I promised YAHVEH I would. I have tried to make it appealing to those of you who are in love with the transliteration of the name "Jesus", and have encountered much resistance.
