The Name 7
By Dr. Thomas Michael
Ezekiel
33:31-33 "So they come as though they are sincere and sit before you listening.
But they have no intention of doing what I tell them to; they talk very sweetly
about loving the Lord, but with their hearts they are loving their money. You
are very entertaining to them, like someone who sings lovely songs with a
beautiful voice or plays well on an instrument. They hear what you say but
don't pay any attention to it! But when all these terrible things happen to them--as
they will--then they will know a prophet has been among them."
The
reason the Holy Spirit keeps prompting me to begin this series with this
passage is because there are many who have followed this man of God, this
prophet, right to the edge until I began speaking on The Name. I have been
entrusted with His name and I must declare it as I promised YAHVEH I would. I
have tried to make it appealing to those of you who are in love with the
transliteration of the name "Jesus", and have encountered much resistance.
The name "Jesus",
commonly used in Christianity today, did not exist until about 500 years ago. The
English name, Jesus, is a derivation from Greek "Iesous" and the Latin "Iesus"
version. There was no letter
'J' in any language prior to the 14th century. The Encyclopedia
Americana contains the following quote on the letter J: "The form of 'J'
was unknown in any alphabet until the 14th century. Either symbol (J,I) used
initially generally had the consonantal sound of Y as in year. Gradually, the two
symbols (J,l) were differentiated, the J usually acquiring consonantal force
and thus becoming regarded as a consonant, and the I becoming a vowel." It
was not until 1630 that the differentiation became general in England. Note, in
the original 1611 version of the King James Bible, there was no letter "J"
because the letter was not commonly used at that time. James was spelled Iames.
Jesus was spelled Iesous. There is no letter "J" or even the sound of
the letter "J" in the Hebrew alphabet. I
n the New Testament, Luke wrote the
following: "… an inscription also was written over Him in letters of Greek,
Latin, and Hebrew: THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS". Traditionally, most
crucifixes (especially Roman Catholic) have the Latin initials of the
Messiah as follows "INRI," which means "Iesus Nazarenus, Rex, Iudaeorum" (Jesus
of Nazareth, King of the Jews). [Note: there is no letter J (for it did
not exist at this time.)] When the Greeks transliterated the name,
they changed the "ah" in the name Yahshua, which denotes the feminine gender in
a word, to "eus" because this denotes the masculine gender.
After thousands of years of silence, the people
of God have finally rediscovered the Most Holy Name of the only true God. It's
amazing what a little research will reveal to those who study to show
themselves approved. There's an instruction for those who have ears to hear
what the Spirit is saying to the church in Ezekiel 33, the introductory verse.
I am not standing behind this pulpit to entertain you, but rather to speak what
YAHVEH has commanded me to say.

For centuries, generations have called upon the name of the LORD, only to find that He does not always answer. How can we truly worship a God whose name we do not even know? I heard the Holy One say, To see something you must expect something. To expect something you must know something. We must know, to expect, and we must expect to see. He says in Psalm 138:2, I will honour My Word and seal it with my name. Joel 2:32 says, And everyone who calls on the name of the YAHVEH, will be saved.
The whole relationship between YAHVEH and His people is based on worship. It is founded on the dimensions and levels of the Ark of Agreement. The Ark of Covenant or the Ark of Agreement was a specific dwelling place that the Almighty agreed to dwell in. He was so desperate for a people to worship Him that He agreed to house His glory in a box. His glory filled the box and the light of that glory radiated and emanated from that box into the holy of holies.
Those Christians caught in the matrix of religion that have not followed YAHVEH's instructions are a grievance to the Holy Spirit. Steeped in the traditions of men, they are devoid of the presence of God. The Spirit of the Lord is raising up a new generation of people who will follow after righteousness. I Samuel 13:14 tells King Saul, "…YAHVEH has sought out for Himself a man after his own heart, and YAHVEH has appointed him as ruler over his people, because you have not kept what YAHVEH commanded you." The Spirit of YAHVEH is looking for people who will unashamedly declare His name to the nations. There is power in the name of YAHVEH. If you do not know what His name is, you cannot know His honour, character, authority, and identity.
