The Name 8
By Dr. Thomas Michael
Rev.
22:3-5 "And
there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in
it; and his servants shall serve him: And they shall see his face; and his name
shall be in their foreheads.
And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of
the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign forever and
ever." YAHVEH is ready to write His name upon our foreheads so that we
will escape the markings of this world.
We are entering into a realm where the
light of the Almighty will illuminate us more than the sun. He is the light and
in Him there is no darkness. In the light there is regeneration. The light of
the glory of the Almighty has the power to regenerate dead cellular activity in
a dying body. We shall begin to see miracles unlike we have ever seen. We shall
begin to see the signs and the wonders and the greater miracles that Yahshua
said we would do. All because we know and embrace His name. When you call on His
name the walls of separation have to come down.
The name of God associated with Hokhmah or wisdom
is YAH. And according to Psalm 138:2, YAHVEH sealed his
word with His name. Exodus 3:13 Then Moses said to God, "Indeed, when I
come to the children of Israel and say to them, "The God of your fathers
has sent me to you,' and they say to me, "What is His name?' what shall I
say to them?" 14 And God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." And He
said, "Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, "I AM has sent
me to you."' 15 Moreover God said to Moses, "Thus you shall say to
the children of Israel: "The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham,
the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name
forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.' (NKJV)
Yah stands for "the Eternal,"
and implies eternal existence. YAH
is an abbreviation of YHVH
that is made up of the Hebrew letters yod and heh, and some
scholars believe that YAH may
be an older form of YHVH.
YAH was combined with proper
names, as in the name Isaiah, which means, YAH
is salvation. According to the Zohar, "All is included in YAH: those that are above and those that are below.
In Him
we live and move and have our being or existence. Within the name of YAH, the 613 commandments of the Torah
are contained. When we invoke His name with sincerity, it is as though we are
carrying out all the commandments of the Jewish religion. In the Bible, YAH is found chiefly in
poetry. For instance, the final verse
of the last Psalm proclaims, "Let every thing that hath breath praise YAH [the Lord]! Hallelujah
[Praise ye the Lord]!" This name, YAH,
compassionately forgives and compensates for the inadequacy of man in relation
to the divine will. That is why we are saved through the name of Yahshua because within His name there is
compassion and forgiveness. The greatest key that Yahshua had was the compassion within His name that caused Him to
perform miracles unlike the days of the prophets. When we begin to show mercy
even as Christ showed mercy for us and forgave all manner of sin, we will then
begin to see the miracles He said we would see and do.

For centuries, generations have called upon the name of the LORD, only to find that He does not always answer. How can we truly worship a God whose name we do not even know? I heard the Holy One say, To see something you must expect something. To expect something you must know something. We must know, to expect, and we must expect to see. He says in Psalm 138:2, I will honour My Word and seal it with my name. Joel 2:32 says, And everyone who calls on the name of the YAHVEH, will be saved.
The whole relationship between YAHVEH and His people is based on worship. It is founded on the dimensions and levels of the Ark of Agreement. The Ark of Covenant or the Ark of Agreement was a specific dwelling place that the Almighty agreed to dwell in. He was so desperate for a people to worship Him that He agreed to house His glory in a box. His glory filled the box and the light of that glory radiated and emanated from that box into the holy of holies.
Those Christians caught in the matrix of religion that have not followed YAHVEH's instructions are a grievance to the Holy Spirit. Steeped in the traditions of men, they are devoid of the presence of God. The Spirit of the Lord is raising up a new generation of people who will follow after righteousness. I Samuel 13:14 tells King Saul, "…YAHVEH has sought out for Himself a man after his own heart, and YAHVEH has appointed him as ruler over his people, because you have not kept what YAHVEH commanded you." The Spirit of YAHVEH is looking for people who will unashamedly declare His name to the nations. There is power in the name of YAHVEH. If you do not know what His name is, you cannot know His honour, character, authority, and identity.
