The Name 10
By Dr. Thomas Michael
Luke
21:27-28 "Then
they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
"But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your
heads, because your redemption is drawing near." We are in the beginning of the end, and yet,
people have less and less regard for what is holy and for those carrying out
God's authority. Rebellion is rampant within the body of Christ. God has never
tolerated the slightest hint of rebellion in His people. It is an affront to
His authority, His power, and His glory.
The reason so many are sickly and
afflicted among us is because there is no blood washed living, no separation
from the religious systems, no separation from the ways of darkness, and no separation
from mediocrity. Pray and fast all you want, but there will be no separation
from darkness and no freedom from demonic attacks until YAHVEH'S people
recognize and begin to follow the protocol of the Spirit with precision. 2 Chron. 7:14 says, "If my
people who are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray… Until
we humble ourselves, bow down before the Almighty, and submit to His ways and
His will, we will not see the glory of YAHVEH revealed in us.
The word says in,
1 Tim. 2: 1-2 "I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help
them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for
kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives
marked by godliness and dignity." However, I see very few people
walking in humility, preferring others to themselves, or truly loving the unlovely
as Christ taught. Very few believers embrace the truth of God's word regarding
honouring those in authority.
Only as we embrace the name of YAHVEH will we
begin to understand the protocol of lifting up our heads or those in authority
over us. How did Christ instruct the disciples to pray? He prayed, "Our
heavenly Father, hollowed is your name…" He did not say, "hallowed is
my name." It was never about Him or His own agenda. He gave honour to His
Father, His authority. He lifted up His head, the Supreme Almighty, and
submitted to His Father's will.
We must lose our identity and embrace His. That's
what a bride does. She loses herself to
her betrothed and submits to his authority and takes on his name. The church is
not behaving like the Bride of Christ, but rather, like the bride of
Frankenstein, a monster made from fragments of dead corpses by a lunatic
scientist. Unfortunately, these brides of Frankenstein, soon, begin to show
their true colors.
Preachers have taken bits and pieces of the body, put
together their larger than life churches for profit never revealing to them
that they must change the way they think and behave before they can truly
prosper. How can the prophets and teachers preach prosperity and say that all
is well when the church continues to operate in rebellion?
Our redemption draws
nigh. Christ is coming for a Bride without spot or wrinkle. But are we ready?
In humility, we must begin to pray for others' needs before our own and submit
to those in authority over us. Then, as we call upon the name of YAHVEH, we
will experience redemption.

For centuries, generations have called upon the name of the LORD, only to find that He does not always answer. How can we truly worship a God whose name we do not even know? I heard the Holy One say, To see something you must expect something. To expect something you must know something. We must know, to expect, and we must expect to see. He says in Psalm 138:2, I will honour My Word and seal it with my name. Joel 2:32 says, And everyone who calls on the name of the YAHVEH, will be saved.
The whole relationship between YAHVEH and His people is based on worship. It is founded on the dimensions and levels of the Ark of Agreement. The Ark of Covenant or the Ark of Agreement was a specific dwelling place that the Almighty agreed to dwell in. He was so desperate for a people to worship Him that He agreed to house His glory in a box. His glory filled the box and the light of that glory radiated and emanated from that box into the holy of holies.
Those Christians caught in the matrix of religion that have not followed YAHVEH's instructions are a grievance to the Holy Spirit. Steeped in the traditions of men, they are devoid of the presence of God. The Spirit of the Lord is raising up a new generation of people who will follow after righteousness. I Samuel 13:14 tells King Saul, "…YAHVEH has sought out for Himself a man after his own heart, and YAHVEH has appointed him as ruler over his people, because you have not kept what YAHVEH commanded you." The Spirit of YAHVEH is looking for people who will unashamedly declare His name to the nations. There is power in the name of YAHVEH. If you do not know what His name is, you cannot know His honour, character, authority, and identity.
